The Annual Meeting of the Association for the Development of the Person-Centered Approach will begin at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, July 19th in Room 605, and will end at 12 noon on Sunday, July 23, 2017. All meeting rooms, fast food restaurants, a convenience store, and the University Cafeteria are located at the University of Illinois at Chicago: Student Center East Tower, 710 South Halsted Street.
Pre-Conference will convene on Wednesday, July 19th from 10:00 a.m. 'til noon and from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. Marge Witty will be teaching a didactic on client centered theory in the morning and will facilitate an open discussion in the afternoon. Please note on your Registration Form if you plan to attend the Pre-Conference Workshop. Dr. Witty will send you a reading list, which will help in your enjoyment and participation in the workshop. No separate fees are required for attending.
CEU’s. Continuing Education Credits sponsored by Chicago Counseling Associates will be offered for psychologists and social workers. A total of 10 hours of continuing education credit is offered during the conference, and 4 hours for full attendance at the Pre-Conference.
Registration Fees for the Conference are listed on the Registration pageof this website. Rates are $300 for the full conference, $125 for students for the full Conference, and $100 for a one day attendance.
Scholarship Requests: We encourage anyone for whom the registration fee is a barrier to apply for any aid needed. Please fill out the registration form and submit it without payment for the registration fee. We are not able to offer aid for housing or parking fees. Contributions to the scholarship fund are tax deductible and greatly appreciated!
Housing at UIC: We are no longer able to accommodate new requests for on campus housing.
The dorm is accessible 24 hours a day. Between the hours of 8 a.m. and midnight simply enter the dorm and go to the second floor Registration Desk. The Dorm Registration Desk is closed between 12 a.m. and 8 a.m. Please let us know right away if you expect to arrive after midnight on your first night.
